NEW MEMBERS INSTALLED!

On May 21, it was our pleasure to welcome four new friends into the Ladies of Charity. Our celebration started with Father Patrick Butler presiding over Mass at the DePaul House Chapel. We welcomed Christina Costa, Suzanne David, Kelly Murray and Jennie Heidbreder. Beautiful music was sung by our own Sheila Morris Barnes who was accompanied by Meghan Barrow, our special friend. It is always a wonderful treat to join together with the Daughters of Charity for the Eucharist.

The festivities continued at Wolferts Roost Country Club with dinner and fellowship. The Ladies entered into a friendly competition by creating for each table the centerpieces which represented our various ministries. Bragging rights and a trophy were awarded to:

Mary's Corner as the "Most Representative of the Ministry";

Music Ministry showing the most color; and

Saturdays with the Sisters being most creative.

It was a wonderful gathering of members as we reaffirmed our commitment of serving the poor with humility, simplicity and charity. Welcome new members! We look forward to getting to know you and serving with you.
