BRIDGES GRADUATES ENJOY WIAWAKA

Summertime was greatly enhanced for several Getting Ahead in a Just Gettin' By World graduates who joined a mentor and Facilitators for a weekend at Wiawaka. Wiawaka is a women’s retreat on the coast of Lake George. They enjoyed swimming, sitting in the sun, hiking, eating outside and on the screened-in porch, playing nighttime games, and sharing stories and laughter. As each of the graduates said, “Wiawaka is a magical place.”

The progress each of these women is enjoying is due mainly to their own courage, but also to the friendship and support from their mentors: Kate Kloss, Maureen McAuliffe, Rosemary Revoir, Nora Vallon-Burgos, Kathy Kavanaugh and Marie Woodward, all of whom are a part of the magnificent Ladies of Charity team.
