A MELODY OF IRISH MUSIC

On the Saturday before St. Patrick's Day, Friends in Harmony returned to the Daughters of Charity, filling the room with the spirited melodies of traditional Irish tunes. The Daughters were treated to an afternoon celebrating not only the rich culture of Ireland, but also the unifying power of music, as the group's rousing renditions of classics like "Danny Boy" and "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling" had the audience tapping their feet and singing along.

The delightful reception following the event brought everyone together in warm fellowship, as we savored the homemade Irish soda bread baked by Sr. Joanne Donovan along with other sweet delights.  What a wonderful and joyous celebration!
